Within just a week, from 22 to 28 of August, employees of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC revealed 37 facts of electricity theft. 25 cases were found out in households, 12 – in the legal sector (private entrepreneurs, companies, firms, etc.).
Most of the facts of interference in the power grid were recorded in the city of Mukachevo and Mukachevo district (4 and 5 violations respectively). The most frequent violations were damaging and removal of seals on meters, tampering with the devices (mechanically hampring discs, magnets, etc.).
The total amount of fines imposed during the week is UAH 186.98 thousand, including UAH 121.10 thousand among households, and UAH 65.88 thousand in the legal sector.
