“Zakarpatgaz” PJSC has checked more than 22,000 gas meters free of charge

For 7 months of 2014, employees of the "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC have conducted 22,100 routine inspections of domestic gas meters. As of August 1, 2014, 2.4 thousand devices have been deemed unusable because of the deterioration of measuring performance. By year-end, the gas company employees plan to check another 16 thousand meters.

The "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC regularly conducts routine checks of meters at customers in Transcarpathian region. These measures are provided by the law currently in force and are aimed at ensuring fair measuring of gas in the region. Additionally, consumers themselves are interested in timely checks of meters, since serviceable meter ensures payment only for the actual amount of natural gas used.
