On Friday in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library, there was a poetic soiree of friendship, during which young writers from the city of Starobilsk and Transcarpathia were sharing their art and establishing cultural bridges.

The cultural bridge between the city of Starobilsk in Luhansk region and the main library region was laid a year ago, thanks to the joint radio show "Good Silent Party". The literary soiree, that was held yesterday in the regional library, further strengthened this "bridge" and established new cultural ties between the two cities.

The moderators of the evening – historian Oleksandr Naboka and the head of the service department Yevhenia Napuda – chose an informal format for this meeting. During the round table, guests and Transcarpathians were reading out their own poetry and prose.

Young Transcarpathian poetry was represented by Maryana Nychka, Tori Rom, Antonina Kornuta. And Mykhailyna Rudneva, Karina Kostenko and Yana Voronina from Luhask region shared their poems.

Oleksiy Trostyansky read his new mystical story from a future collection, and Vasyl Laver presented his own horror stories and the collection of "Pigs 18+" which includes his works.

At the end of the soiree, the participants shared their impressions of the event. Mykhailyna Rudneva said: "This is my first visit to Uzhgorod. It is a city with a beautiful architecture. And today I realized that it is also a city with beautiful and bright people."
