Young Uzhgorod football players became the champions of the region (PHOTOS)

On Wednesday, June 19, at Uzhgorod stadium "Spartak" there was the final match of the Transcarpathian Child and Youth Football League for boys born in 1998-1999 

The X Football Championship of Transcarpathian region, held under the auspices of the Child and Youth Football League, this year brought together more than 1,400 participants. Young athletes competed in three categories: born in 2002-2003, 2000-2001, and 1998-1999.

That day, the players of the oldest age group (1998-1999) competed for the first place. In this category, there were 27 teams. Uzhgorod and Mukachevo teams competed in the final battle. In a tense struggle, the match was won by the team from Uzhgorod.

             The Championship finalists were awarded with medals, cups, sports equipment. The winners also received new uniforms – the press-center of the RSA informed.
