In Transcarpathia, a casting for young people willing to take part in the shooting of a new film by the well-known Hungarian director of art-house films Benedek Fligauf has been announced, – the Mukachevo.net reports.
In particular, creative young people aged 18 to 28 are invited. Requirements: energetic, easy-to-lift people interested in art and fluent in Ukrainian or Russian are wanted. Experience in cinema and theater is not required.
Casting will take place on 20, 22, 27, 30 of September, 2017 from 17.00 to 19.00. in the European House, the city of Beregovo, Secheni str., 59-B. Also, a casting in Uzhgorod is planned.
One of the latest films of Benedek Fligauff is "Just a Wind" (Hung. Csak a szel) – a social drama with the elements of a psychological triller. In 2012, the film won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale Film Festival. It is about a Gypsy family, who are constantly waiting for a nightly attack of unknowns. The film was based on real homicides on ethnic grounds in Hungary, although the story itself is fictitious. The film "Lilly Lane" (2016) was included to the list of the best films of 2016. It is a tale about mother and son who feel abandoned among other people, the whole country for them is one big prison.
