This weekend, Lviv hosted a stage of the National 10-13 Children’s Fencing League. Transcarpathian fencers also competed in several age categories.
On October 14, boy fencers were competing. And although they won no awards, they were among the top 20.
On October 15, girls were competing. And already in the youngest age group, Transcarpathian fencers won two medals. Thus, Daria Kurta became the Champion, and Daria Sehediy won the bronze award. Among the girls born in 2006-2007, Yulia Fatula took the 13th place. In the older age group, two Uzhgorod fencers, pupils of Anatoliy Herey – Oleksandra Lazarenko and Olena Synytsia were fighting for the Championship. As a result, with the score of 15:7, Oleksandra won gold, Olena got silver! Anastasia Holych finished 13th.
