Sakuramania is in full swing! An annual tourist boom has come to Uzhgorod – sakura flowers painted the streets of the city in pink. Hundreds of visitors are having their photographs taken with soft, fragile petals of Japanese cherries on the background.
The pink flowers in Uzhgorod are also attracting artists. Both experienced masters, and beginners. Today, I saw in the Heaven’s Hundred park dozens of children enthusiastically painting our sakuras.
As it turned out, young students from the "Magic Brush" Art Studio from the capital of Volyn – Lutsk – came to Uzhgorod. More than thirty artists arrived in two buses, because their brothers, sisters and parents also wanted to visit our city.
"Uzhgorod is really charming, – the guests shared with us, – for some of us, it has already become a tradition to come here, and this time we decided to arrange a plein air for creative children."
