In Sylvia Geletey’s photo gallery in Mukachevo, the hostess’ photo exhibition is taking place under the name "Rose – flower of honor", as well as the exhibition of skein dolls (motankas) made by mysterious Oktyabrina.
We didn’t manage to find the artist at the exhibition, so it wasn’t easy to find out why the motankas were called Roman dolls on the posters. Each doll has its own conceptual name such as "Anti-Laziness", "Anti-Jealousy," "Anti-Envy" and so on. Although not everybody can see a big difference between the dolls, they are all made in two colors.
The photos, as promised in the poster, depict roses. There is no way it can be described with words – you must see them with your own eyes. The exhibition can be attended till August 12 at the address: Grushevskogo Street 13/15 (3rd floor). The entrance fee is 5 hryvnia. It is possible to buy any work, prices range from 150 to 200 hryvnia.
