Yestwerday, on the border with Slovakia, cigarettes were found in two instances

During the last day, at checkpoints of the Chop border guard detachment, border guards prevented two attempts of illegal transportation of cigarettes across the border.

In the first case, tobacco products were hidden under a layer of iron ore in a gondola of the train, which was following to Slovakia via the checkpoint "Pavlovo". In total, there were 1500 packs of cigarettes "Jin Ling" under the bulk cargo in cardboard boxes, which were wrapped in polythene,. The tobacco products were confiscated and assessed at 15,000 UAH.

In the other instance, our compatriot was punished for his ingenuity. The man who was going to Slovakia via the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" by a minivan "Ford", used the spare wheel of his car to hide cigarettes from border guards and customs officers. After dismantling of the wheel, 100 packs of "Fest" were found in it. The cigarettes and the wheel were seized, their value is being established.
