Yesterday, February 11, at 06.30 the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region received the information about the fire of a "VAZ-2101" on Pogorelov street in Uzhgorod.
The unit of the state fire and rescue station number 14 was sent to the place of call. A 39-year-old driver of the car using a fire extinguisher was able to tame the flames before the arrival of rescuers.
The fire destroyed the front seat and damaged the interior of the vehicle.
On the same day, also the regional center another car was burning, this time it was "Chevrolet Lacheti" on Novak street. The rescuers were reported at 10.07. At 10.25 the fire was localized, and in 5 minutes completely eliminated.
The fire damaged the lining and the back seat of the vehicle.
Causes of fires and property damage are currently being established.
Fortunately, there were no victims.
