Law enforcement officials are investigating into the accident in the village of Hlyboke in Uzhgorod district, where a pedestrian died as a result of being hit by a car.
Yesterday, June 4, around 23.00, the police received a report about a car accident, in which a pedestrian was fatally injured. The police investigative team at the scene found out that a "Skoda Octavia" moving in the direction of Uzhgorod on the highway Kyiv-Chop had run over an unidentified man. According to preliminary information, the pedestrian was randomly moving along the road, because of that the car driver did not notice him and hit him with the bumper. The man died on the spot from his injuries.
The police are establishing all the circumstances of the accident and determining the legal classification of the incident.
