Works at treatment plants in Uzhgorod continue

According to the director of MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" Stanislav Kartashov, the works are planned to be completed by the end of next week. 
The work for replacement if the sludge scraper – the equipment for the primary sump of the Vodokanal sewage treatment plants – continue in Uzhgorod. 
Recall that the metal structures of the mechanism that have been in operation since 1975 are completely worn out and are not subject to repair. At an unscheduled field meeting of the commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency, they decided: in order to avoid overloading of primary sewage sump, deterioration of sewage treatment, it is necessary to urgently make a new sludge scraper according to the old model, using the necessary designs. 
The funds for the work performed by the employees of the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod” were allocated at the last meeting of the regular session of the Uzhgorod City Council. Source.
