It is this principle that was chosen for their work by the Public Council at the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region that held a regular meeting today, June 4.
At the meeting, they discussed a number of important issues. In particular, the Public Council summarized the consideration of appeals from entities that were presented in previous meetings, considered new appeals from entities. The participants also discussed the draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on the decentralization of state power and the issue of the EU autonomous preferential trade regime for Ukraine.
The staff of the Public Council noted the aspiration of our country to further development as part of the EU, in particular the need to focus on the European experience and work together towards improving tax and customs legislation. Therefore, one of the main priorities of the Public Council is to ensure citizens’ participation in public affairs, public control over the activities of executive authorities, to establish effective interaction with the public, taking into account citizens’ opinions during the formation and implementation of public policy.
