Workforce in Transcarpathia will be trained according to the needs of the region

Petro Lazar, the Director of the Department of Finance of the RSA commented on the innovations of the State Budget for 2016 relating to the regions.
First, he stressed that the single tax will be credited in full to the budgets of local governments.  

The financing of higher education institutions of I-II level of accreditation, according to Petro Lazar, will be made from the state budget.
The distribution of expenditures on health care by types of medical help is back in the current system. Primary and secondary (specialized) medical help will be funded, as before, from the budgets of regional centers, district budgets and budgets of united communities. Secondary and tertiary (highly specialized), as well as emergency medical help will be funded from regional budgets.

Vocational education, which is funded from local budgets, will undergo significant changes. The network of vocational schools, according to Petro Lazar, located in the cities of regional importance, shall be financed by the budgets of these cities, another network will be funded from the regional budget. There is the order of the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure the transfer of vocational schools from the state to municipal ownership, also specific measures shall be taken to modernize the network of vocational schools based on their consolidation and workforce training according to the needs of the region. Also, the ban on closure of schools during 2016 – 2018 has been introduced.
