Word of the Mayor. Andriyiv promised to respond to the actions of the architectural vandal, who ruined the house on Tolstoy street (direct speech)

Uzhgorod Mayor responded to the public outcry caused by the photo of a horrible additional storey with unsuitable joinery on a valuable house on Tolstoy Street, which was posted in the group Uzhgorod. Bohdan Andriyiv promised tough sanctions for the architectural vandal, up to the forced demolition of the additional storey. The mayor reported that on his page:

"The construction (reconstruction) of a house on Tolstoy street has been widely publicized recently, in particular, in social network Facebook.

In this context, I inform Uzhgorod residents that the said construction works are illegal. The developer Vash MM three times has been brought to administrative responsibility for unauthorized construction, and three times has been brought to responsibility for non-compliance with the orders of the relevant regulations. The fines imposed have been paid.

At present, the available means of administrative influence have been exhausted. The case is being prepared for referral to law enforcement agencies."

We are waiting for tough measures, because every such act of vandalism, which will be forgiven and will not entail a serious response, opens the way to other "architectural murderers", who ruin the original face of Uzhgorod, destroying its valuable historical and architectural heritage.
