Without bail: Indictment against a resident of Beregovo district suspected of molesting a minor has been approved

The prosecutor’s office has approved the indictment against a 57-year-old resident of Beregovo district, who is suspected of molesting a 7-year-old girl

The Beregovo local prosecutor’s office approved and sent to court the indictment against a 57-year-old resident of the village of Batyovo, Beregovo district, in molesting a minor girl (Part 2 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to Volodymyr Zhilkin, the head of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial restraint in the form of 60 days in detention without the possibility of bail was imposed on the 57-year-old suspect. He is currently being held in custody in the Transcarpathian Prison No. 9.
