With the flag of the 128th Brigade: A Transcarpathian became a finalist of the most famous triathlon race in the world (PHOTOS)

Roman Megela from Uzhgorod became a finalist of the most famous IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon world championship, which was held this year in Maskat, Oman.

"The long-awaited finish!! Together with the flag, which was given to me in 2016 by the 128th separate mountain assault brigade Transcarpathian Legion!
So many emotions, now I understand what IRONMAN 70.3 is (it’s not easy at all!!!)
My total time is 5:38:51 (we will keeping working to improve the result). I’m bringing the medal to our beautiful Transcarpathia!)", – the participant wrote on his page on the social network.

IronMan is considered one of the toughest one-day competitions in the world, with three disciplines: swimming, cycling and running.
