The true glory of winter tourism in Ukraine – a picturesque Mizhhirya district – now also pleases with a developed service sector. And with a variety of offers for leisure.At different locations characterized by charm and dynamics of development.
On the slopes of the Pylypets in Mizhhirya district, there are several pistes of different difficulty levels. Three ski tows and one chair lifts (departing from the center of the resort) are already working for tourists. On the Hymba mountain, which is a part of the Borzhava highlands, it is already freezing and snowy.
Snow on the Pylypets usually remains from December to late March – early April. Borzhava meadows are also attractive for hiking enthusiasts. And just 6 km from the resort, the Shypit – one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Transcarpathia is situated.
The head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Denys Man believes in the prospects of winter tourism development in Mizhhirya district. And he is convinced that Borzhava can compete with Bukovel.
Besides, eco-style recreation is now gaining popularity in Transcarpathia.
Thus, near the village of Izky in Mizhhirya district, there is an entire complex for eco-vacation. There, they try to create the conditions that are as close to nature as possible: wooden houses, unpaved paths, horseback riding, apiary, the farm making eco-products. Everything to fully experience the spirit of the mountains.
So, as we see, Mizhhirya district in winter is a joy for body and soul. And, of course, for eyes, as you can see in the photos.
