Every year, in January, the State Guard Service conducts winter census of animals at the National Park "Synevyr". The purpose of this measure is to determine the species composition of animals, to establish their habitats, their population and territorial location in different tracts.
The census of fauna has great scientific and environmental value, the information is necessary for developing measures for the protection and preservation of the gene pool of the park.
Therefore, all environmental research departments of the park carefully prepare for it. Employees of the research department, leading engineers of the state guard service carefully study each round and determine methods to be used to obtain more reliable data.
An important requirement for all researchers is excellent command of specificity and methodology of census. In addition, each participant of the conservation measure should be familiar with the species composition of all native animals and birds, traces of their life and be able to identify age of the track and its direction.
It is pleasant to note that, according to the results of the census of wildlife in the national park "Synevyr", its population is growing from year to year.
