Wine houses of Hungary presented their products in Palanok Castle (PHOTOS)

In total, nine wine houses of Hungary were presented in the Rakoczy cellar of "Palanok" castle – "Thummerer" "Angyal", "Korona", "Palinkas", "Molnar and sons", "Kovacs", "Kunvin", "Meszaros", "Syuch".

The official presentation of wines took place in Mukachevo castle Palanok. According to Mukachevo City Council, the event was attended by the Secretary of State of Hungary in charge of the national policy in the Hungarian government Potapi Arpad Janos, the Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod Jozsef Buhayla in Beregovo Endre Szalipszki, representatives of business circles of Transcarpathia.

The mayor of Mukachevo Andriy Baloha said that the "Palanok" castle has been being renovated for several years thanks to benefactors, local government, partners from Hungary. The new project will make "Palanok" even more attractive for tourists. "We share a common history. Together, we can improve tourist sites of the region", – he said.

Potapi Arpad Janos said that for him and for many tourists from Europe, Mukachevo Castle is a place of positive impressions.

– This is a historic place for the whole region, for all peoples that live there. The Hungarian Government helps the institution, and our joint efforts in such projects is a testament to our friendship. Some of the best Hungarian wine regions are presented in the Rakoczy cellar, and we are confident that we will adequately present the wine culture for tourists from all over the world" – Mr. Secretary said.
