Activists do not agree with the statement of the foresters that it is the sanitary felling that is taking place in the "Shakhta" neighbourhood. In actuality, they say, completely healthy trees are being cut. This is stated in a post on social networks:
"Friends, there is new information about the felling in the "Shakhta". We need to come together and show that we will not allow to to do that!
The following is a quote from the NGO "Ecosphere":
"So, on December 12, there will be a meeting with the foresters…. at the site of felling in the 10th quarter of Uzhgorod forestry at 11.00. We are expecting you!"
