The free legal assistance system may be destroyed – such a conclusion can be reached after analyzing more than four months delay in the payments to Transcarpathian lawyers, our reader, lawyer Oleksandr Peresolyak assures.
Note, that funds for payments were provided in the budget for 2013. However, for unknown reasons, the State Treasury has not even paid for 2 months in 2013 to attorneys who were provided services under the free legal assistance program. The amount of debt for 2013 is about 100,000.00 UAH. Mr. Oleksandr informed.
Meanwhile, the state regularly funds the system of prosecution. And what about defense of citizens from prosecution? Perhaps such defense is not needed at all?
