In the regional center of Transcarpathia, the city election commission continues to register candidates for the mayor that have identical or similar names. Thus, there is a sign of the use of "double" candidate trick.
On Tuesday, September 29, the City Election Commission registered a candidate for the mayor from the party "Bloc of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarnist" Mykhailo Kachur. At the same meeting, they registered a self-nominated candidate Yevhen Kachur.
Also, they registered a candidate for the mayor from the party "Vidrodzhennya" Bogdan Andriyiv. On September 25, the TEC registered a self-nominated candidate – Ivan Andriyiv.
On September 29, they registered a self-nominated candidate Ratushniak Serhiy Volodymyrovich. On September 25, the TEC registered a candidate and former mayor of Uzhgorod (2006-2010) – Ratushniak Serhiy Mykolayovich. The latter is also running as a self-nominated candidate.
On September 29, they registered a self-nominated candidate for the mayor Mykola Chubirko. The current Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko was registered as a candidate for the Chairman of the City Council on September 25.
On September 25, as reported by the OPORA, the TEC registered two candidates with the surname Shchadey.
Also at the meeting on September 29, the TEC registered the following people as candidates for the mayor:
Victoria Slyusarenko – a self-nominated candidate;
Oleksandr Sazonov – a self-nominated candidate;
Boris Borisov – a self-nominated candidate;
Yaroslav Shafar – a candidate of the local branch of the "Radical Party";
Victor Pogorelov – a self-nominated candidate, the current Mayor of Uzhgorod.
Today, new names will probably be added to the list…
