Where Transcarpathians should not go: 3 European countries that are in antirating

Neighboring to Transcarpathia Slovakia is among outsiders in the rating of preparedness for tourism. Also, two other countries, namely Bulgaria and Latvia, received the lowest scores from experts of the World Economic Forum, which annually publish reports on development of tourism in each country.

Index of competitiveness in travel and tourism industry is calculated based on the evaluation of 14 criteria. This is not about preferences of the tourists themselves, but the degree of attractiveness of the tourism sector in these countries for investors and businessmen: security, state of health protection, infrastructure, transport system, and the cultural richness of the country. The best countries in this regard are Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Spain.
