Where in Transcarpathia will campsites be located?

A step-by-step action plan for the placement of campsites in Transcarpathian region, outside and within populated areas, has been developed. This was reported by the Department of Tourism of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. 

A meeting of the working group on the development and implementation of the pilot project "Campsites of Transcarpathia" was held in the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. During the meeting, they discussed the main steps that need to be taken to implement the project. 

Together with the representatives of the relevant services and structural units of the Regional State Administration, a step-by-step action plan for the placement of campsites on the territory of the region, outside and within populated areas, has been developed. 

  This action plan is a so-called "road map" for a potential investor. 

Since the chosen place for campsite should be located near tourist attractions, as well as along the tourist routes (pedestrian, bicycle, car, horse), the "RTO Zakarpattya" submitted the following proposals regarding the placement of campsites, namely: 

– the city of Uzhgorod – the village of Uzhok (Velyky Berezny district) – in this direction, there is a cycling route that follows the road, bus and railway routes. Camping site should be placed near the springs along the route; 

– the village of Nyzhni Vorota – Synevyr – in this direction, there is a cycling route, which follows the Transcarpathian tourist route and road and bus routes; 

– the city of Beregovo – the city of Vynogradiv – in this direction, there is the waterway of the Tisa river and the cycling route, which follows car and bus routes; 

– the village of Belasovitsa in Volovets district, near the tourist route to the Mt. Pikuy.
