When will the thermal pools and beaches in Hungary open?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most thermal pools, saunas and beaches in Hungary had to be closed. 
Similarly, most public beaches will not open during normal times in May. The Hungarian NlCafe website predicts that most pools and bathhouses will reopen not earlier than July 2020. The same may go for Transcarpathia. 
It is noted that after the start of the coronavirus spread, thermal complexes also closed their doors, although at first they were not required to do so. However, for safety reasons, they were closed like in other countries. They are currently following all instructions from the government to prevent the virus from spreading. 
Now they are beginning to carefully plan how to proceed. So, during the first phase, after some restrictions in Hungary have been lifted – which is expected after May 3 – workers will begin to prepare and maintain the pools. 
It is obvious that the authorities will issue new rules for the operation of bathhouses, thermal complexes and swimming pools. That is, most likely, they will be following health standards more carefully and preventing crowds. 
There are more than 220 thermal complexes and swimming pools throughout Hungary, which are a significant part of the entire tourism industry.
