What, where, when on weekend in Transcarpathia (June 2 – 3)

June 2 – rally in support of the prisoner of the Putin regime, film director Oleg Sentsov and other political prisoners who are illegally held behind bars in Russia and the occupied Crimea. Residents of Uzhgorod will join other people around the world, who support Oleg Sentsov on this day and initiated the global campaign #SaveOlegSentsov. The beginning is at 12.00 (Teatralna Square, Uzhgorod).

June 2 – the first plogging in Uzhgorod. Fitness plus clean environment is the philosophy of a new sport called plogging, which translates to "picking up garbage during a jog," which was invented by Eric Alhstrom, a resident of Sweden, in 2017, due to the global environmental pollution. The route will run through the territory of the Bozdosh Park, where the participants of the run will try to pick up household waste while joggi in order to attract attention to the situation with the pollution of the city park. The beginning is at 9.00 (the city of Uzhgorod).
