November 26 – Day of Holodomor victims. Events in Uzhgorod: at 10.30, on Poshtova Square, representatives of the government, religious organizations, witnesses of the famine and youth with candles will form a convoy that will march to the site of the construction of the monument to the victims of the famines in Ukraine (near the Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod National University). At 11.00, the laying and consecration of the cornerstone for the construction of the monument will begin there. There will be a moment of silence, candle lighting, requiem. At 15.30, on Teatralna Square, at 16.00 – the nationwide minute of silence and campaign "Light a candle of memory" (which you can join by lighting a candle in the window of the house after dark).
