What, where, when on weekend in Transcarpathia (1 – 2 of October)

October 1 – The Day of Music with an original concert program "Open air". The concert will be opened by the String Orchestra conducted by Serhiy Dobosz, and then continue with the art project "Open Microphone". Talented musicians, vocalists, who can not imagine their life without music, are invited to take part in it. The beginning is at 14.00 (central square of ​​the city, Mukachevo).

October 1 – The NGO "Happy Children" starts classes at the Ecoschool for kids. 11.00 to 14.00. Terms of participation – small donations for the development and activities of the organization (Kotlyarevsky st., 59, Uzhgorod).

October 1 – performance of the Kyiv group Vivienne Mort with the new acoustic program, accompanied by a string quartet. Admission fee is 200 UAH. The beginning is at 19:00 (art center "Ilko Gallery" Uzhgorod).

October 1-2 – 675th anniversary of Irshava. Program: October 1 – rock festival "Another Planet". The beginning is at 17.30 on the city central square. The bands Trystavisim, Way In Rye, Siberian Sun, Johnny Rides, Chalamada will perform, the headliner of the festival is the band Bez Obmezhen. October 2 – autumn plein air of painters from District Association "Colours of Borzhava" – "Cityscape". 11.00 – prayer in all churches of the city. 12.00 – the traditional First-grader Day of Irshava Children’s Art School (district house of culture). 16.00 – master classes in pottery, weaving, body art, basket weaving, painting on glass. 17.30 – consecration of the newly installed city emblem, magical flash mob "To you, my hometown!". Music program from Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts, as well as the performance of rock groups "TaymReg," "Dyki sertsem", "Druzi moyi" and People’s Artist of Ukraine Stepan Hiha and his daughter, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Kvitoslava, unforgettable fire show from the fire theater "Fire life" (the central square, Irshava). 

October 2 – "Kirpichka convenes friends" – presentation of inclusive natural space, workshop, "mother’s flea market," vocal and dance groups, aqua make up, launch of lanterns, bubble show, sweet prizes, forum "EcoUrbo."The beginning is at 12.00 (40th Anniversary of Victory Park, "Kirpichka" Lake, Uzhgorod).

October 2 – goodies and win-win lottery from the Movement to support Transcarpathian at the "Kirpichka convenes friends." 12.00 – 20.00 ("Kirpichka" Lake, Uzhgorod).

October 2 – Europe League combat sambo competition. The beginning is at 10.00 (sports complex "Yunist", Uzhgorod).

October 2 – Rapid chess championship of Uzhgorod. The beginning is at 10.00 (student leisure center "Juventus" (Mukachivska street, Uzhgorod).

October 2 – closing of the 8th International Youth Festival of Music Organ named after N.Vysich. Katerina Hazho (organ), Oksana Grinevich (flute), Diana Havata (cello), the Philharmonic Orchestra. The beginning is at 17.00 (Regional Philharmonic, Uzhgorod).

October 2 – "Bring you grandparents to the theater" (Day of Older Persons) – puppet fairy tale "Wooden miracle" by I. and J. Zlatopolski. The beginning is at 11.00 and 13.00 (Transcarpathian Puppet Theatre "Bavka", Uzhgorod).

– October 2 – opening of the exhibition of paintings by Honored Artist of Ukraine Vlad Gabda titled "Autumn" (art-cafe "Voto" Uzhgorod).

– Until October 4, the anniversary exhibition of fine and decorative art by a member of the National Union of Folk Art of Ukraine Anatoly Sakalosh (lobby of the District State Administration, Beregovo).

– Retrospective exhibition of Transcarpathian artist Volodymyr Cherepanya titled "Across the river, in the shade of trees" (entrance fee is 20 UAH, for students – 10 UAH) Saturday – 11.00 – 21.00, Sunday – 12.00 – 19.00 (art center "Ilko Gallery").

– Exhibition of paintings "Slice of contemporary art of Transcarpathia". The collection of nearly 70 works by over 30 authors (the atrium of the RSA building, Narodna Square, Uzhgorod).  

– Exhibition of art works by 24 Lviv artists – painters, graphic artists, ceramists, blown glass masters (gallery of the castle "Palanok" Mukachevo).

– Exhibition-presentation of works by members of the painting section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.    (Transcarpathian Art Museum, Uzhgorod).
