What, where, when on the weekend in Transcarpathia (23 – 24 of July)

July 23 – official opening of the family-type orphanage of the Halyuk family. The festivities will begin at 13.00 (the village of Zabrid in Velyky Berezny district).

July 23 – The feast of ice cream. The program features clowns, circus performances, interesting workshops, various contests and sweepstakes. Beginning at 13.00 (Maidan Nezalezhnosti, Khust).

July 23 – Open Cup of the city in beach volleyball (beach town, Mukachevo).

July 23 – Day of Neptune. Program: 12:00 – costume parade, 12:30 – holiday program, competitions, entertainment and gifts, 14:00 – aqua aerobics, 15:00 – competitions, quizzes, 16:00 – aqua aerobics, 17:00 – festival of colors "Holi" 18:00 – bubble show 18:30 – foam disco. During the day – a children’s holiday program and free aqua make-up (Kosyno Thermal Waters, Beregovo district).

July 23-24 – tour of Kyiv State Circus "Orbita". The program features the contestants of the "Ukraine’s Got Talent", funny clowns, magic illusion, trapeze artists and acrobats. Also many trained animals: royal-poodles, porcupines, raccoons, peacocks, a pig and a goat, a rooster in boots. The beginning of performances is at 18:00. Ticket prices range from 60 UAH (City park, Tyachiv). 

July 23 – 24 – The Tourist Philharmonic. 10.00 – 14.00. The organ will be playing from 13.00 to 14.00 (Regional Philharmonic, Uzhgorod).

July 24 – the first festival of peaches. Program: 15.00 – official opening of the festival. Presentation of awards from local government; 15.30 – performance of kindergarten children; 16.00- performance of members of the amateur groups from the village of Bene; 16.30 – performance of guests from the village club of Hecha; 17.00 – tasting of bograch cooked on peach tree firewood; donuts with peach jam; pastries with peaches; compote made of peaches. 17.30 – Football competitions: championship among street teams; penalty kicks. 20.00 – Orban Reika and the ensemble "ÚREGY Band"; 20.30 – Marko Veronika and the ensemble "Chutka"; 21.00 – awards: the best street team; the winner of the penalty kicks; Peach King 2016. 21.00 – dance; 23.00 – fireworks (the village of Bene, Beregovo district.

July 24 – social and entertainment program for the families of the city "Fathers and Sons" (A.Kuzmenko Park, Mukachevo)

July 24 – Drama Laboratory for children and adolescents (House of Culture, the village of N.Selyshche, Khust district).
