What, where, when in Transcarpathia on weekend (14-15 of May)

May 14 – ice cream holiday. The beginning is at 13.00 (Bozdosh park, Uzhgorod).

May 14 -15 – the first festival of flowers "Love in the St. Miklos", organized by the Association of Ukrainian Florists with the assistance of the Bartosz family. May 14: 12.00: Inauguration of the festival.      15.00-19.00 performances of Ukrainian bands. 20.00 – the performance of the theater "Resurrection." May 15: 10.00: opening of the 2nd day of the festival. Presentations of teams and quiz for guests. 12.00-16.00 performances of bands.

May 14 – 15 – international wine festival "Rose of the Carpathians." Wines of Transcarpathian private winemakers and wines of Slovak and Hungarian winemakers will be presented.   There will be various workshops and presentations, theater and concert program, and the highlight will be performances of bands "Vataha" and "Rock-H" and the show of the Fire Theatre "Fire Life" (the village of Serednye, Uzhgorod district).

May 14-15 – holiday of music from Mukachevo choral school of boys and young men (director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Volontyr). May 14: 11:00 – conference of the choirmaster club "LAD" (Mukachevo choral school of boys and young men; Voloshin st., 18) 19.00 – Concert with the participation of the Children and Youth Choir "Zhyravlyk" (the city of Kamyanets-Podilsky) and the Choir of boys and young men of Mukachevo choral school (Castle "Palanok"). May 15: 19.00 Gala concert (Christian Cultural Center, Rosvyhivska st., 9A) (Mukachevo).

May 15 – Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression. Laying of flowers at the monument to victims of political repression in the park of the Heaven Hundred on Rakoczy street. The beginning is at 13.00 (Uzhgorod).

May 15 – gastronomic festival "Berlybash Banush." The program includes the presentation of the village tourist attractions "Strimchaky Rocks", solemn Hutsul procession, bonfire.  And of course, most importantly, the competition for cooking of the best Hutsul banush, a fair of products of craftsmen and Hutsul tunes.

May 15 – Children cycling race "Tour de Uzh."  Registration starts at 10.00, Entry fee with preliminary registration is 40 UAH, at the competition – 50 UAH. (Bozdosh park, Uzhgorod).

May 15 – II District Festival of Choreography "Dance Fairy". The program includes pop and folk dances performed by groups of art schools and cultural institutions of Irshava district. There will also be a patriotic flash mob from 400 participants in the festival. The beginning is at 14.00 (central square, Irshava).

May 15 – Theater performance  Beginning at 11.00 and 13.00 (Transcarpathian Puppet Theatre "Bavka", Uzhgorod).

May 15 – concert "Spring Mood" from the ensemble "Hungarian Melodies" (manager – A.Shtefko). With the participation of Miroslava Shvakh-Pekar (soprano), Katerina Hozho (organ). The beginning is at 17.00 (Philharmonic, Uzhgorod).

May 15 – musical fairy tale "The big frog" L.Ustynov (directed by O. Sarkisyants). The beginning is at 12.00 (25 UAH) (based on Karpenko-Kary’s drama "Unlucky") "What willows are weeping about" (directed by Vasyl Shershun). The beginning is at 18.00 (30-80 UAH) (Regional Music and Drama Theater, Uzhgorod).
