What, where, when in Transcarpathia on the weekend

Uzhgorod.in continues our weekly column and informs readers about the interesting events that will take place in the region over the weekend. 

November 13 – 15 – goose, wine and St. Martin festival. The events to commemorate St. Martin will begin in Beregovo, on Friday, the 13th at 11.00, on Kossuth Square. On November, 14th, there will be the opening ceremony of the festival at 11.00. There will be the consecration of wine and goose dishes. Goose grazing and "Miss Goose" contests will also take place. At 17.00, the contest for the best lantern will begin. After that, the Lantern Parade will march from Kossuth Square to the Heroyi Square. On November15th, at 11.00, there will be the Mass in the Roman Catholic Church on the central square (the city of Beregovo).

November 13-15 – IV City Festival "Feast of St. Martin in Mukachevo." For three days, there will be stalls with wine, honey and food on the central square. The main events will be held on November 14 – at 17.30, the Ancient Music Ensemble "Kings & Beggars" from Lviv will perform on the central square, and at 18.00, the traditional procession with lanterns, fire shows, jousting competitions will start (the central square of Mukachevo).  

November 14 – Handmade Fair "Vynogradivski Patsyorky." The beginning is at 9.00. (passage between Shevchenko and Myr streets, Vynogradiv).

November 14- 15 – exhibition of art works "Autumn Salon". Saturday – from 11.00 to 21.00, Sunday – 12.00 – 19.00 ("Ilko" gallery, Uzhgorod).

November 14-15 – personal jubilee retrospective exhibition of the People’s Artist of Ukraine V. Gabda devoted to the 90th anniversary of the author. From 10.00 to 18.00 (Transcarpathian Art Museum,  Uzhgorod).

November 14-15 – exhibition of Emma Tremba "Imprint of reality." Exhibition of nine works with one common concept. Presented for the first time ("Voto" art cafe, Uzhgorod).

November 15 – the project "Weekend Music", the performance ofthe Transcarpathian Academic Folk Choir. The concert starts at 16.00 (Regional Philharmonics, Uzhgorod).

November 15 – 4th open petanque tournament "Saint Martin -2015". Beginning at 10.00 (Peremoha Park, Mukachevo).
