What, where, when in Transcarpathia (October 7-8)

October 7 – Holiday of grapes harvesting and winemaking. Entertaining program: performances of the folk group; tasting of wines and cheeses; live music; creative entertainment for children; cooking of dishes on fire and spit. The beginning is at 12.00 (entrance – 50 UAH / person) (Sanatorium complex "Derenivska Kupil", the village of Nyzhnye Solotvyno, Uzhgorod district).

October 7-8 – Festival "Bobovyshche Grapes – 2017". Guests of the festival will see the birth of wine. All 39 village councils of the district will be represented at the festival. Winemakers from Ukraine, Hungary, Greece. Performances of the Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sadvari, band VANDOR and Istvan Khalus, Without Limits, folk band Antsya, rock band Rock-H and Ivan Pylypets. Solemn procession and the official opening of the holiday will begin on October 7, at 13.00 (stadium, the village of Bobovyshche, Mukachevo district)

October 8 – Initiative "Petofi Square: Three-Dimensional Dialogue" within the framework of the "​​Freedom Square" project, aimed at exploring and understanding the practice of using squares in Chernivtsi, Kherson and Uzhgorod. Part number 2 – workshop "Petofi Square: how it should be" with urbanist Mariana Kuzemska (Lviv). 12:30 – 16:30 (entrance is free) (cafe "Olivier", Petofi square 11, Uzhgorod).
