What, where, when in Transcarpathia (2 – 3 of April)

April 2 – concert of two bands: "Azathoth Circle" and "Castrum". Beginning at 20.00 (club "Outsider", Uzhgorod).

April 2 – 3 – exhibition of paintings by Transcarpathian artist Svitlana Kremin titled "We Can Do It" (art-cafe "Voto" Uzhgorod).

April 2 – 3 – retrospective exhibition of paintings and graphic works by the teacher Petro Kotsan 11.00 -15.00 ("Impasto" gallery, Shevchenko street, 8, Vynogradiv).

April 2 – 3 – exhibition of the photographer and historian of architecture Rudolf Klein "Synagogues of Eastern and Central Europe, 1782-1944." The exhibition is an educational journey in space and time, which will present synagogues in Eastern and Central Europe. Among them, there are destroyed monuments and the temples restored to former glory. And also the exhibition of Transcarpathian carver Ivan Silvay (from the museum stock). 10.00 -18.00 (Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, Uzhgorod).

April 2 – 3 – retrospective exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Transcarpathian artist Vasyl Skakandiy. The exhibition features 70 works of the artist. Saturday – 11.00-15.00, Sunday – 11.00-13.00 ("Uzhgorod" gallery).

April 2-3 – an exhibition of paintings by Uzhgorod artist Andriy Kuruc. The event is dedicated to anniversary of the artist. Using his own original technique, he devoted many years of creative activity to careful depiction of his hometown on canvas (Art Salon "Diptych",. Koryatovich St., 5)

April 2 – 3 – exhibition of paintings by contemporary artist, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladyslav Gabda. The event marks the 55th anniversary, which the artist celebrated in late February. The exhibition features about 50 paintings that have been painted over the past 15 years.The works are in different styles, but they are all united under the title "INFORMEL". 9.00-17.00 (Transcarpathian Art Museum, Uzhgorod).

April 2 – 3 – exhibition of Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Betsa "Homecoming" (works from the family collection and private collections). The exhibition features over 60 works. Saturday -11.00 -21.00, Sunday – 12.00-19.00 (Art Center "Ilko Gallery" Koshitska st., Uzhgorod).

April 3 – play "Sad Sack from a Den" (D.Keshelya). The beginning is at 11.00, 13.00 (puppet theater "Bavka" Uzhgorod).

April 3 – film screening. The beginning is at 21.00 (Stanley Kubrick cinema (Uzhgorod, Dukhnovich st., 25).

April 3 – opening of the 4th International Festival "Music without Borders". The program includes the performance of the Honored Academic Transcarpathian Choir, chamber orchestra, vocal and instrumental miniatures and Istvan Marton’s "Mass" for choir, orchestra, soloists, organ. Beginning at 17.00 (Regional Philharmonics, Uzhgorod).

April 3 – "The Bremen Town Musicians" (H.C.Andersen) Beginning at 12.00, vaudeville in 2 acts "Turkish Shawl" by A. Gorin, E. Yavorsky. Based on the dramatic works of Kvitka-Osnovyanenko, music by People’s Artist of Ukraine V. Filipenko).  Beginning at 18.00 (Regional Music and Drama Theater, Uzhgorod).

April 3 – final of the winter football championship of the district. FC "Zarichchya" – FC "Pryborzhavske" (match for the third place). FC "Dorobratovo" – FC "Shakhtar" (Ilnytsia) (match for the first place). Beginning at 13.00 and 15.00 (stadium in the village of Siltse, Irshava district).

April 3 – School of Easter egg making. Lesson №3.   The price of the lesson is 150 UAH. (All supplies included.). Beginning at 14.00, the gathering at the Exaltation of the Cross Cathedral, Kapitulna Street, 9 (Uzhgorod).

April 3 – campaign from the Charitable Foundation "Caritas" of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese for children of the ATO participants and internally displaced persons (held as part of the project "Aid to the families affected by the ATO"). The program includes the play "Sad Sack from a Den", performance of the "Blitz", sweet table from Valentin Shtefanyo, photozone. Beginning at 14.30 (puppet theater "Bavka" Uzhgorod).

April 3 – Football. "Goverla" (Uzhgorod) – "Olympic" (Donetsk). The beginning is at 17.00 (Stadium "Avangard", Uzhgorod). 

April 3 – "Fashion Bazaar" – fashion event featuring modern Ukrainian designers. At the "Fashion Bazaar", designers will not only demonstrate their own collections, there will be a showroom where everyone will be able to try on any item and buy it. Makeup artists and hair stylists will also demonstrate their talents. Designers from Uzhgorod, Lviv, Kyiv, Artemivsk, Ivano-Frankivsk are invited.   At 13.00 – children’s show, at 18.00 – adult show ( "Toyota Center", Uzhgorod).
