What, where, when in Transcarpathia (18 – 29 of March)

March 18 – "March of Fame of the Heroes of Carpathian Ukraine." Members of "Carpathian Sich" will march Uzhgorod streets in honor of the fallen ancestors.   The beginning is at 17 30 (from the house "Prosvita", H-Donsky square, Uzhgorod).

March 18 – 19 – training "Active Citizens" by the British Council in Ukraine. The program for those who want to see changes in their town or village, but do not know where to start, how to unite people, where to find money and how to turn a simple idea into a project. The participants will make an "expedition" to the city, where they will be analyzing the situation and think about what can be changed. As a result of the training, the participants will have a complete project that they will be able to submit for the contest for funding from the British Council. The beginning is at 10.00 (building of UzhNU, Zankovetska st., 89, Uzhgorod).

March 19 – Weekend Music. "European folklore" by the ensemble of soloists "Harmonia" (director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Kharkhalis). The beginning is at 16.00 (Regional Philharmonic, Uzhgorod).

March 19 – "The Tale of the Three Little Pigs" by Laura Lee. The beginning is at 11.00 and 13.00 (Puppet Theatre "Bavka", Uzhgorod).

March 19 – "Fern Blossom". The beginning is at 12.00 (entrance fee is 25 UAH).; "A good summer in Paris" (O. Gavroche) (director – People’s Artist of Ukraine Anatoly Filippov). The beginning is at 18.00 (price – 30 to 80 UAH) (Regional Music and Drama Theater, Uzhgorod).

March 19 – Youth Experimental Theater "Turn on the light" presents the Italian comedy "Three" based on the play by L. Lunari "Three on a swing." The beginning is at 18.00 (ticket price is 120 UAH). (Ilko Gallery, Koshitska st., Uzhgorod).

March 19 – guests from the city of Miskolc (Hungary) – duo "Akvarel" and the band "Mintha Senekar" – will perform in Transcarpathia for the first time.

– Exhibition of paintings by Uzhgorod artist Yulia Egorova-Rogova (art cafe "Voto" Uzhgorod).

– "Interaction / Works" organized by the Interior Ministry, civil society activists and NGOs within the project "Communication support and involvement of the public in the reform" of the international organization IREX". Authors: Olena Staranchuk and Oleg Grishchenko. 12 drawings embody the idea of ​​interaction between various government agencies and citizens of Ukraine for effective work and changes in society (Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library, Uzhgorod).

– Exhibition of works by international photo competition winner, member of the Union of Photographers of Transcarpathia, member of the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine Mykola Potsko from Svalyava (sanatorium "Kvitka polonyny", Solochyn village, Svalyava district);

– Charity Foundation "Revival of historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine named after the Hero of Ukraine B.Voznytsky" presents the exhibition "Crowns of the World." The retrospect exhibition of the main symbols of power of past eras includes crowns, headwear of spiritual and secular leaders from around the world, lost civilizations (Chapel pf the Transcarpathian Local Lore Museum, Uzhgorod).
