At the checkpoint "Vyshnye Nyemetske" of Slovakia, representatives of Transcarpathia and Slovakia held a meeting on modernization and reconstruction of Ukrainian-Slovak border crossing points.
The event was initiated by the Finance Office of the Slovak Republic – the main partner of a large-scale project "Modernization and reconstruction of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Slovak border."
The meeting was attended by representatives of Chop Customs headed by the Acting Chief of the Customs Office Igor Strichyk.
In the course of the inter-agency meeting, the participants discussed the coordination and collaboration during the reconstruction of the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vyshnye Nyemetske."
The Ukrainian party informed on changes in Ukraine’s legislation on public procurement. Recall that on March 24, 2014, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine amended the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement" to increase the transparency of the procurement process which improved the procedure for disclosure of the results of tenders – the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region reported.
