What to do if you hear the signal “Attention, everyone!” (Infographic)

The main method of public notification about emergency is transmission of information using public radio and television broadcasting. To draw people’s attention, before the announcement, they turn on sirens, whistles and other signal devices, which mean the signal "Attention, everybody!"

At the signal "Attention, everybody!", citizens should turn on radio or television receivers to listen to urgent messages. The information is transmitted every 5 minutes in the official language and languages of main minorities.

The message contains information about the place and time of  emergency, the scope of the emergency, start time and duration of the adverse factors, the affected area, the procedure to follow during emergencies, etc.
