“What should Baba Yaga wear?” Search requests of creative Transcarpathians

Yandex has studied the requests of Transcarpathians about costumes. It turned out that Transcarpathians began to actively search for costumes back in October – on the eve of Halloween – and after the All Saints Day, they have been searching for New Year costumes, in mid-December, the interest in the subject reaches the peak.

During the first winter month, Ukrainians ask Yandex about costumes approximately three times more often than usual. Overall, in December, almost a million requests on this subject come from Ukraine.

Speaking of costumes for children, Transcarpathians are more interested in boys’ costumes for New Year parties, the number of requests for girls’ costumes are several times less. People want to find photos of costumes, where to buy them or how to make them, and are less interested in where to rent them.
