On Friday, September 20, art connoisseurs had the opportunity to see the paintings of the famous Uzhgorod artist, Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Sima-Pavlyshyn. The exhibition of works with the original title "The Mood of… Autumn?" was inaugurated in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life in Uzhgorod. It was a sell-out.
The exhibition hall features 21 works in the author’s original technique. The paintings have been created over the last 6 years.
Academician Volodymyr Mykyta was also present at the exhibition. In the interview with us, the artist said: "How could I not have come? I respect Natalia very much for her art." There were also writers, musicians. And, of course, the artist’s family – husband Volodymyr Pavlyshyn – Honored Artist of Ukraine, daughter Lyuba also paints, son Volodymyr is designer-architect. The children and grandchildren are even on canvases.
Classical music created an artistic atmosphere in the hall. Since the exhibition is entitled "The Mood of… Autumn?", we asked the artist what kind mood she has. “My whole mood is in my works. I love autumn because it is the season of gold, the riches of the earth, the colors”…
