The fate of the long-suffering Fundanich house was the subject of a whole awareness campaign, during which activists tried to draw the authorities’ attention to one of the historical monuments of Uzhgorod.
Uzhgorod.in also covered this important problem for the city. We wrote about the violation in the construction, which led to the destruction of the Fundanich house; protests of Uzhgorod residents against the destruction of the valuable architectural object; about the promise of the mayor to listen to the opinions of the citizens and so on.
Yet, it seems, no conclusions have been made from this story. This is evidenced by the post of Vadim Logvinov on the page Save Uzhhorod.
– Did anyone notice what is being built on the site of the long-suffering Kyryl (Cyril) Fundanich house? Find at least two differences between what is on the picture and what has been built! The picture shows a stable with five windows above, in reality – a stable with six (?!) windows, the first floor of the "masterpiece" is… ???

The city authorities are in anabiosis… The permits issued by the City Council illegally with gross violations have not been canceled. A pseudo-historical two-story monster is being built on the site of the one-storey Fundanich house.
Bohdan Andriyiv and Oleg Borshovsky, is this how you imagine the "restoration" of the destroyed building that you promised?
