Today is the wet day. Uzhgorod residents douse each other not only with perfumes but also with plain water.
Narodna square is crowded. Both children and youth are running among the spouts of the fountain. Boys throw other people into the fountain, girls suffer the most.
Even many adults participate in a fascinating attraction.
According to ancient tradition, it was believed that water on this day has healing properties like on the Epiphany, and gives beauty and health to everyone who takes a "cold shower".
