The Biosphere Corporation has launched a line of eco-friendly compostable trash bags. The company announced it on its Facebook page.
Go Green bags do not contain polyethylene. Raw materials obtained from renewable sources of natural origin, in particular corn starch, comprise 40% of bag composition.
According to the company, such bags decompose in six months (under special compost conditions). The developers guarantee that the bags are fully biodegradable.
Starting January 20, Go Green garbage bags by Freken BOK will be available on the shelves of ATB supermarkets. Biodegradable bags are to hit the market in most retailers and online stores soon.
