“Weekend quarantine” has been introduced in Ukraine

The relevant decision was made today, November 11, at a government meeting.

The Ministry of Health has developed amendments to Resolution 641, which provide for the introduction of "weekend quarantine" in Ukraine.

"For us doctors, the best option would be to impose a full lockdown for at least 3 weeks, this is what we would like to be done. But based, among other things, on the calculations of the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Finance, we can not survive a full lockdown, so we are looking for the balance of health preservation and the introduction of anti-epidemic measures," – the head of the Ministry of Health Maksym Stepanov said.

Additional restrictions are expected to be in force from November 14 to the end of the month.
