The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Gritsak promised a fair investigation if all members of the "Right Sector", that were involved in the incident in Mukachevo, hand over weapons and cooperate with the authorities.
Gritsak said that in his comments to the "Censor.Net".
"There is an undeniable fact, which the state must react to first – people were wounded and killed. We need to prevent further bloodshed, prevent casualties. This is the most important thing. We are in touch with the leadership of the RS, the situation is stable. We have to solve the problem considering the positions of all parties. We will not allow any more fighting," – he said.
According to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, it is necessary to hold transparent investigation into the incident.
"It should be a transparent investigation, with the participation of the public, MPs, to establish all the details and circumstances under which the fire was opened and people were killed," – Gritsak said.
I guarantee a fair trial if all RS members, who were involved in the incident in Mukachevo, hand over weapons and cooperate with the authorities,
– he added.
He also suggested to strengthen border control to prevent the flow of contraband.
