“We love Uzhgorod, our city…” – we are offered an anthem

Poet and composer Mykola Hnatiuk wrote an anthem of Uzhgorod for the anniversary of the city and send it to the municipal newspaper – the site "7 dniv" informed and published the text. 

Uzhgorod.in reminds that despite the fact that the city has already announced a competition for the anthem of Uzhgorod, no song has been chosen on and the regional center does not have its anthem. Perhaps it’s because there were few proposals, and there was not anything very interesting among them. And anyway, the city may not need its own beautiful song, especially at a time when such band as "Payushchiye trusy" is invited for the 1120th anniversary of the city – sadly, the jubilee of Uzhgorod will be remembered by this fact.
