We have a world vice-champion in kettlebell lifting!

The city of Loutraki (Greece) hosted the World Cup in kettlebell sport, where a graduate of the faculty of health Vasyl Potokiy participated as a member of Ukraine national team. He trains in the university section of athleticism led by senior lecturer Andriy Fedorishko.
Competing in the weight category up to 65 kg, in snatch the athlete lifted a 32 kg weight 102 times and won the gold medal in this exercise.
In jerk, Vasyl lifted two "thirty-two’s" 52 times and scored 162 points in total, the same as the winner from Kharkiv. Given the fact that the athlete from UzhNU was 400 grams heavier than the Kharkivite, Vasyl became the vice-champion of the world, far ahead of the bronze medalist from Uzbekistan, thus, making ​​a significant contribution to the team victory of Ukraine – the Media Center of UzhNU reported.
