Water supply in Uzhgorod will be resumed gradually

The Administration of the Vodokanal of Uzhgorod reports that today at 9.00 am, the main works on connection of the new sewer collection line to replace the old, broken section in Solyany lane was completed. Thus, they have begun gradual start-up of Mynai water intake and the filtering and pumping station II.

Water supply will be resumed with a gradual increase of pressure over 6 hours. During this period, the water supply system maintenance team will be conducting regulation of valves with the displacement of air from networks and reaching steady water supply regime around 15.00.

Request to consumers:
• after water supply is resumed, if possible, run water through flush tanks for its speedier clarification;
• do not use raw water until its full clarification.
