S.Petofi Sq. is one of the central squares of Uzhgorod, where many people walk every day. Correspondents of the Uzhgorod in. have repeatedly written about old houses, crumbling bricks falling on the pedestrian zone, or balconies that are in disrepair.
In particular, the educational complex "Uzhgorod Economic High School, Secondary School" still needs restoration (have already repeatedly drawn attention to it in our publications). Nearby, there is another not very remarkable house where bricks all but fall on the ground.
There are a lot of similar old houses in Uzhgorod. But due to the crisis or for other reasons, they are often ignored by those who should be responsible.
In the absence of funds, they should at least put fences around the danger zone lest some passers-by get injured.
