Famous Transcarpathian artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a member of the Association of Creative Women of Transcarpathia "Nova Forma", Olena Kondratyuk closed the art year in Transcarpathia with the "Christmas Vernissage". The exhibition, which opened yesterday, December 26, in the Uzhgorod Art Salon "ArtPro", features 20 paintings made over the year. The Carpathians and the woman remain the central themes of the paintings. There are also still lifes, landscapes, even wooden architecture. And although the artist, as she notes herself, likes subtle colors, but the works turn out bright.
While the visitors were enjoying the art, Olena Kondratyuk told our publication that she is already preparing for the jubilee retrospective exhibition, which is scheduled to be held next year.
The exhibition will run until January 14, 2018.
