Walking in virgin forests!

A new hiking tour connecting Perechyn and Uzhgorod districts will be laid in Transcarpathia.

"A one-day hiking route about 20 km long from Kamyanytsia forestry, which is located in Uzhgorod district, via the mountain of Plishka to the Novoselytsia rock, the descent to the village of Dubrynychi in Perechyn district – this is the idea of a new tourist trail," – the report says.

It is noted that the development of the route is planned to be completed and opened for visitors next year. Subsequently, they plan to extend the trail to Velyky Berezny district.

As noted by the developers of the new tourist attraction, it will also be designed for children and elderly people. The tracks will be marked, places for rest, observation decks will be arranged, and the information about the flora and fauna of the forest, as well as the history of the region will be provided.

A forestry engineer from Switzerland is involved in the implementation of the idea of a new trail in the Ukrainian Carpathians. He has been providing ecological advice on how to set up trails in order to preserve forest diversity and not to damage the natural balance.
